About US
The Slidell Tennis Association (STA) is a nonprofit organization established in 1977. As a community tennis association (CTA), we are affiliated with the Louisiana Tennis Association to help grow the sport of tennis at the local level. Our board of directors is comprised of volunteers and relies on the generosity of our sponsors in order to provide many services to our tennis community.
STA Board Meetings
Meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm at Crossgates Family Fitness unless otherwise voted by the board to move the date due to holidays or tournament planning. The STA meetings are open to the public.​
Mission Statement
To promote the development of tennis as a means of healthy recreation and physical fitness for all Slidell area residents.
What We Do

Coordinate USTA adult leagues (Mixed, Combo, Tri-level) in Slidell

Assist in promoting Junior tennis

Offers annual grant assistance to the 6 local high schools

Organizes at least 2 non-sanctioned tournaments

Promotes/Assists several local charity tournaments

Promotes a non-sanctioned city league

Assist the City of Slidell in maintaining the public tennis courts

Attend monthly board meetings to plan events and discuss ways to promote tennis in the community
